Message from Brent Barger
Sunday April 5th marked the last Wide Eyed Life worship gathering. After 2 years we felt it was time to close the season of life in ministry that was Wide Eyed. It was been a great joy to lead this ministry and to get to know so many amazing people. We celebrate and praise Christ for what He's done in our lives and we pray that God continues to grow the seeds that have been planted in our lives. We thank you all who have ever had anything to do with this ministry. It truly is bittersweet to see this come to an end but we simply sensed that this was the time to close things out. This website will remain up for the next few months so if you want to listen to any of the online teachings feel free to download or stream right off the site. Eventually, this site will shut down completely.
The primary reason that Wide Eyed has ended is that I (Brent) am helping to lead the planting of a new church in Canton, specifically the downtown area. This is the path and calling that God has for my life right now. I will be partnering with Jason Lantz, a good friend who has been on Rivertree Christian Church's staff for the past several years, as well as other like-minded people. As of now, this new work is called Love Canton and we are extremely excited about what God is calling us to. If you are at all interested in hearing more about this church plant don't hesitate to contact me at brent@lovecanton.com.
Much Love,
Brent Barger
